Desserts by Michelle is a catering company based in the GTA that offers a wide range of services - despite what the company name implies, Desserts by Michelle does more than just desserts! While it started out as a desserts-focused catering company, Desserts by Michelle has evolved to include anything from take-out charcuterie boxes, to corporate lunches, to a pre-plated 4-course dinner. 
 
Whether you want to host an intimate appetizer party for 10 people in your home, or have an extravagant wedding of 200 people, Desserts By Michelle can accommodate your vision and partner alongside you to create a menu that will leave your guests raving. 
 
Owner and culinary artist Michelle Van Zeumeren has spent decades perfecting her craft, ensuring that you can sit back and enjoy your event while she and her exceptional staff take care of the most important aspect of the party - the food.

Note From

What a wonderful job I have when friends and family support me and also benefit from my business — I cook, they eat!

My love for cooking and baking started when I attended Humber College for Hotel and Restaurant Management. From there, baking became my passion. Then some dear friends suggested I start selling my desserts, and Desserts by Michelle was born. The enjoyment of baking and cooking for others and trying new recipes helped to expand the catering aspect of the business. One of my biggest rewards is to have people enjoy the food and to have the host relax while I take care of the rest.
